The cottage is so well equipped, thoughtfully designed, and in a great location with beautiful spaces for enjoying the outdoors. Great communication and easy check-in. This cottage is super clean and beautifully decoraded. We barely have to bring anything because the cottage has everything you need. Checking in and out is super easy. Very short bike ride to North Beach, which is by the lighthouse. Patio on dock with bed swing was a great addition to the stay. Perfect for reading, listening to music, or just enjoying the surroundings. Watched the sunset from the firepit area across the street. Could not kayak due to low water, but no fault of the owner. Decorated in a comfortable and coastal style with a touch of whimsy. The bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve slept on. Appliances and all amenities are top notch. The attention to detail was remarkable. We ate breakfast on the screened porch off the kitchen, relaxed on the swinging bed and sat on the dock listening to all the animals in the marsh. The golf cart was an added bonus. We had perfect weather for riding bikes, riding in golf cart and walking. We never had to start our car after we arrived. We fished off the dock, relaxed on the swing, took in the sunset over the marsh behind the parking, laughed and relaxed by the fire pit near the house. I even did one of my pastel drawings at the back porch table while listening to the rain. It was a magical time. Every inch of the space told a story and left you excited and curious what was around the next corner. You will not find any other place like it. Every amenity you needed and more was provided. What a great way to vacation here. Tybee was a great place to spend a few days. We loved the property. It was super clean and well maintained. We were even able to check in early, and Missy was quick and responsive with texting and answering any questions. We kayaked a couple of days right out from the back of the house. Easy to do, but have to time around the high tides. Missy has a golf cart for use to get all around the island. This will save you $4/hr parking and is fun to do. She also had bikes that we didn’t have time to use. And I really enjoyed the guitar that I could play on. I would highly recommend this property to stay for an active vacation and enjoyment of Tybee Island. ##### Brad B. Every need you could have is met & then some. Everything was well stocked with quality items, some you would never expect to find! This beautiful, historic, quaint cottage on Tybee's saltwater tidal marsh is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all the beauty the island has to offer. The porches are perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The street is lovely and quiet. The cottage's design and decor is as thoughtful as it is stylish. Missy is a master at maximizing every inch of the space. And her taste is impeccable. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained and stocked with everything you need and then some. We especially appreciated the robes and coffee mugs - a very nice touch. The use of the golf cart is amazing! You can get around the entire island on it. Missy has a parking pass that allows you to park anywhere for free. I cannot stress enough how convenient this is for you as the renter. It's a wonderful perk! Missy was such a gracious host. If you like authentic, you’ll love this. Missy has managed to keep the cottages original charm while layering in modern amenities. Loved the local art and eclectic decor. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything. Our preference was North Beach where Dolphins swam by and birds migrated overhead. A visit to Crab Shack is a must for great seafood and quirky ambiance. Local taxi service has a bit to be desired for cleanliness but the golf cart was used majority of time anyway (beware of temperamental reverse gear).
