Sunset Villa is the name of this property, it is a beautiful custom built southern style home in the quiet residential North end of Tybee Island available for rent by family groups or responsible adults over the age of 25 years old. We just brought on line at the end of May of 2023, a 16 x 50' HUGE private swimming pool with 8 swim up bar seats. (This pool is the largest pool on the island, larger than hotels and condo pools!!! You are not sharing a small pool with100+ homes on the other end of the island either!) When you rent this property, you are the only one who has access to this pool - this pool is private to you! This pool is 9' on the deep end, 3' on the shallow end with a 4' deep swim lane on the opposite side of the bar seats. Two 75" TVs at the bar. The pool has optional propane gas pool heater available that can heat this large pool up 1.5 deg F/hr. Guest pay for amount used, $500 Deposit if heat desired. Connecting to the pool is a game room with another 75" TV, beautiful walnut table, tiled room - 4 arcade games on free play including two fast and furious race car games to race against each other. In front of the game room is parking for two additional cars and a EV charge station. Sunset Villa joins its sibling homes behind it, Villa Palms and Villa Charm as a vacation rental available Memorial Day 2023\. This home has 4 large bedrooms each with their own en-suite full bath and another 1/2 bath off of the kitchen. This home is pet friendly and the Savannah River side beach access is just 300’ away. Pets are allowed at many places on Tybee Island, but are not allowed on the beach at any time all year. The front door has a keypad entry programmed specifically for your use. Since this is a water view home, the kitchen, dining area and open living room are on the third floor. The living area is open and is a large space. The living area includes a large 75” flat screen TV, 2 couches, 1 queen size sleeper sofa. There is an elevator to help with luggage and taking groceries to the top main living floor. Outside this 3rd floor living space area is a deck with dining table, rocking chairs for sitting outside and a spiral staircase to a roof top height deck with custom built adirondack chairs for even nicer views of the mouth of the Savannah River as it opens up to the ocean where you can see ocean liner tankers and shrimp boats pass by. The kitchen includes an oven, large refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The dining table seats 8 and 5 additional seats at the kitchen island preparation area. One bedroom with a king size bed is on the third floor with its own en-suite bathroom with new walk in shower (all 4 bedrooms have their own private en-suite bathrooms). The second floor of this home includes the other three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King Size bed, private balcony, 55" flat screen TV, large en-suite bathroom with claw foot tub, separate walk in shower, his and her sinks. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with its new walk in shower. The forth bedroom is set up as a kids room with two sets of twin over full bunk beds for a total of 4 beds in this room and has its on en-suite bathroom too with a tub shower. The laundry room with washer and dryer are in the hallway of this 2nd floor too. Each of the top/3rd floor and second floor have separate air conditioning units and programmable thermostats. The first floor is enclosed entry into the home and a very large garage that can park a full size truck very easily plus more. There is additional room to park 2+ off street vehicles in the driveway. All guests are met (from a distance is fine) to confirm the home is as you expect. Owner is main point of contact for maintenance issues with the home and also available for recommendations for food and services on the island. We want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We were three couples that booked the Sunset Villa for a short 4 day vacation. From day one the host Tony kept us informed of everything related to our stay. The check in was seamless, the house was spotless and beautiful and everything was as listed. The house had everything you could want from dishes to furniture to elevator to TV's. The pool area was fantastic with a game room, several TV's. a swim up bar, gas grill and griddle, nice pool furniture and best of all a heated pool. I can't recommend this house and Tony enough. The outdoor space is absolutely amazing - the pool, game room and outdoor grill were fantastic. We enjoyed watching sunsets, container ships and dolphins from the rooftop deck as well. It is a very short walk to the beach where you can walk, play or dolphin watch. The interior of the home is dated but well maintained and clean and definitely spacious. The air conditioning on the 3rd floor was a bit of a challenge; had to be repaired during our stay and never really worked well but I'm sure this will be repaired. Tony lives nearby so he is available and very responsive. If you have a large party and enjoy being outdoors, this property is for you. My family just wrapped up a multi-day Thanksgiving stay at Tony's offering. Included two sibling families plus grandparent arriving from four different cities. Nine people in the total party including four adults, two older teens, and three younger teen boys. Hard to imagine that we could've picked a better, more convenient, more accommodating, and/or more enjoyable lcoation. Tony was easy to work with and a great host from start to finish. Came to introduce himself during our stay; was easy to reach with questions. The place itself was amazing. Space galore and in all the most useful ways. Plenty of space to come together and plenty of space to be apart across our age groups. We never felt cramped. The kitchen was spacious and the full dining room and table worked perfectly for seating our family for all our meals together. Can't say enough about four bedrooms with ensuite private baths--to each his/her own!! The bunk room was perfect for our boys; the game room made their stay. Was too cold during our stay for pool use. Temperature differential made the cost of pool heating impractical for us, but we loved having it there. During warmer months, would be heaven. Home was very clean. Had everything we needed. Location was great. Easy to get to/from by vehicle. Walking access to the beach was so nice. Rooftop deck made evening sunset watching with drinks lovely. Access to local shops was wonderful. I've run out of adjectives. This is not only a beautiful home but spacious and offers something for every age range. The teenagers on our trip really enjoyed the pool and arcade room. The location can't be beat for proximity to the beach and the neighborhood is quiet. Watching sunsets from the rooftop deck and enjoying coffee each morning from the same chairs were great! Would not hesitate to stay here again, everything was top notch. If your going with family, the pool and game room are amazing.The pool is actually bigger in person. Communication with Tony was seamless. Walk to to beach was shorter and nicer than I thought it would be (it’s the quiet side of the beach which is great, you can still drive to the main beach which is busier but still a lot of fun). Tony was in contact with us the whole time. We received door entry code on the way down. Everything was nice and clean upon arrival. Kitchen is completely stocked with all the accessories you will need for your stay. We had 2 adults 60's 2 adults 20's and two adults at 18, a 17 year old, 1 infant and 2 dogs. There was more than enough room for all of us. Restaurants were great. There is one called Huccaboos that is super close. You can walk there if you wanted. The best part of all....The pool, the pool, the pool & the pool. It is beautiful and huge. We all spent a lot of time in it. Kids loved the arcade room right off the pool area. Actual kids loved everything about this rental as we all did. We can't until we can go back again. I give it 10 stars. Once again props to Tony. Plenty of room for my extended family. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed, from china, kitchen appliances, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. I was really impressed there was a full supply of toiletries in every bathroom (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.). I loved the attention to detail! Tony the owner was always available if I had questions or needed recommendations for restaurants & activities.
