Although the carpet was somewhat stained, the room itself was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Even though the washrooms were shared, they were absolutely well maintained.

The checking in was frustrating we arrive at one o’clock now one in office so came back at 2 o’clock now one there so phoned told she won’t be far. Half an hour later 4 customer waiting the lady finally arrived. Not a good look.
There was 2 of us stay for 3 nights. Only one lot of toiletries in the bathroom and on the second day asked for more toilet paper. Sorry you have to pay for more.
These could have been a small cost to the Resort for people who are stay more than one night.
Also the rooms weren’t serviced while we stayed.

Room appeared to have been recently redone. Small garden was beautiful. After hours key drop was convenient. Staff helpful. Room was in excellent condition and very comfortable. Kitchenette was more than adequately stocked for two people. We were worried about noise as our room was closest to a main road near a railway. The traffic did not keep us awake. Other rooms were more distant from the traffic. Definitely recommend as a comfortable place to stay in Ashburton.

Simple, very small rooms. But it has everything you would need, even a tea kettle. It was clean. We just needed a place to sleep and it was exactly that! We had a private bathroom. Only issue was finding the room in the dark but we eventually found it! Then the other issue was that the WiFi password ...
