There were a few shortcomings with the property and I understand that “rustic “ was an euphemism for them. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. The beds are also not the most comfortable but as mentioned, it wasn’t too bad for just a short weekend trip. Great location and the river right behind the cabin is very beautiful. ##### Anna C. It was a little bit warmer than we expected. For a family of 5 we could have used an a/c for the last night as there was only 1 small ceiling fan to cool the upstairs area. It wasn’t a bad place to stay for a few nights away. The pool was right across the cabin and there was a river right out back of the place. We walked around the campground since we had our dog with us. Everyone in the area was very nice and friendly. (Not that that was our intention). We were plagued by mice, they seem very comfortable in there. I dont think it is reasonable that mice calmly walked across the floor, the counter and one even climbed in one of our shoes. Suggest to the cleaner that dirt exists in corners too. Floors were not vacuumed, dust and dead bugs on floors, food between couch cushions. Not the high standard of cleanliness usually present at VRBO sites. ##### denise s. Stay was great, cabin was cozy and convenient to get to. We had the whole campground to ourselves. Cabin slept our family of 6 comfortably Only complaint was that it was pretty cold and the monitor heater had a hard time keeping up. The tile floors were always freezing, bring slippers.
