"The property is very well maintained, with great attention to detail and service.
The rooms with a view has a genuinely fantastic view of the Dhauladhar Range, especially room 405 and the ones next to it.

"This is the second time I have stayed at Buddha's Abode. They had only just opened last year and it is pleasing to see an additional floor has opened up.
The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer.
The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly, and really made my stay even better than expected.

"The hotel looks good, the view from the room is great, just opposite of Bhagsunag water fall, got exactly the same room as shown in the app, staff behavior is awesome, good cook, food offered was great, various food options available. "Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful.
The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect.
Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start.
Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...
