Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (556)
"We enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites. We got a studio room that had plenty of room for us to spread out. The beds and couch were very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with lots of options to choose from. The 205 restaurant and roof top bar was very nice with a great view and delicious food. Our grandson enjoyed playing the games in the lobby area and sitting on the patio. We brought our
dog
along and they had treats in the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Not the most updated hotel but very clean and the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds. Main complaint is that there should be coffee available in the lobby during the mornings and evenings at a minimum. "

Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown by IHG

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1000)
"Purchased upgraded room for a river view. There is no such thing. Noticed that the furniture fabric in room is stained and worn. Downstairs bathroom no paper for both days here. Reported no Tv input in room. Was reported but never fixed. No Tv. The park was very nice and clean for walking. The upstairs patio area and restaurant food was very good along with presentation. Server was very friendly and helpful. Sweet to our doodles. This hotel is lacking basics. "

Wingate By Wyndham Tuscaloosa

2.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (1005)
"The bad stuff: This hotel is a bit older and it shows. Cleanliness was not at a 4 or 5 star level. Our hotel room door would not latch/lock, so we had to request to move to a different room. The next room had a strong smell of marijuana. Other occupants were very noisy in the hallways: shouting and slamming their doors. The good stuff: This location was convenient to the University of Alabama campus. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast and snack options were varied and appreciated....
