Pool & workout facilities Welcome to Houndstooth Hideaway! This 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom condo is conveniently located at The Houndstooth Condominiums and under a mile from the stadium! The condo can sleep up to 11 people. This gorgeous and newly decorated/furnished unit is within walking distance of everything you may need, including plenty of restaurant and bar option! There is a wonderful balcony with a TV and electric grill, perfect for game day festivities! You can enjoy multiple complex amenities here, which include a pool with waterfall, 24-hour fitness center, tanning beds and 24 hr. business center with free printing! The first bedroom has a SleepNumber king bed and sleeping nook with a Twin over Twin Bunkbed with a twin trundle bed. There is an en suite bathroom that has a tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Twin over Queen bunkbed and attached bathroom with a tub shower. The final bedroom has a king bed and twin flip sofa and attached bathroom with a tub shower. This complex is next to the railroad, but we do have sound machines in all rooms to compensate for it. The complex pool area is open 24/7\. Please be aware that there are no lights in or around the pool area. If you have a larger group, consider also booking Rising Tide or Southern Comfort located in the same building, one floor up! We are here to make your stay a wonderful one. We know we’ve done our job well when you ask about coming back to stay with us again. We love having repeat guests, because it feels like family or close friends coming home for a visit. Early check-ins are available upon request, pending availability. There’s a $50 charge per hour, plus tax/fees. My husband is on a walker and does not get around very well. We were in town for a travel baseball tournament and needed a comfortable space for my husband. This condo was point on for a handicap person! 1st - the location of this unit in the building was great. We got on the elevator, went to the 3rd floor and the unit was right next to the elevator! Not a lot of walking to get to this unit! 2nd - there were 7 of us and even with my husband on a walker, it was spacious and comfy! 3rd - the Master bath had a hand held wand as well as a grab bar in the shower. (Just an FYI - the shower floor was slippery - take a shower mat so you can prevent falls) 4th - the Master bath was spacious enough for him to maneuver around on his walker. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need! The welcome basket was a nice addition! Pool towels are left in a basket by the door for you to use! We manage to pull off a dinner for our daughters and their friends so they could have a home cooked meal with no issues. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Houndstooth rental for a week while evacuating from Hurricane Ida. The place is very nice and cozy. It was also quiet. Easy to get an elevator and it was nice to have a balcony to sit out on. The only things we didn't like was the ice maker did make a lot of noise and so did the dishwasher and there are several trains that pass by daily; however, they do provide a noise maker to drown out some of that.
