Hyvä palvelu, aamupala & buffet maittavia (ala cartea emme kokeillut). Merinäköala huoneessa myös oikein mukava. Itse kylpyläosasto on tosin aika pieni ja jonkinlaista perusparannusta vailla.

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay after 100km of cycling the islands. The route from Naantali to Ruissalo was amazing.

The sauna and pools were great along with access to the lagoon for a dip. Very disappointed in the pool hours closing at 9pm. Other issue was our room was very hot and staff had little concern about the issue.

Old hotel for old people in a beautiful location
The stay was good. The location is beautiful and the rooms work well - there is new flooring and some newly renovated stuff in the room which gives it a good feeling although you can see that the hotel is overall old. For one night stay it worked out perfectly. If you are looking for a real SPA experience, the title may be a bit overrated - two small pools (too small for laps) and one warm even smaller pool don't invite for a very long stay - the sauna was good tho and swimming in the sea super refreshing! Breakfast was alright.

Spontaneous one night stay
This was a last minute booking. We arrived after midnight between 1-2am and the hotel check in agent wasn't pleased to see us. He asked , when did we make our reservations? I told that just an hour ago. He said that is impossible, but I insisted that we had a reservation and it has been paid. Sure enough he found it, but somehow he felt the need to make it difficult. Anyway, we were tired and just wanted to sleep. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the ambiance was nice. Would come back if you need to rewind . This time we didn't event check the spa. Just a quick one night stay.

What I like: the view. Incredible.The swimming area, awesome. What I dislike: - AC could have been colder, I came in the summer and sunset sun was shooting right into our room - There should be a fridge in the room - There should be toothbrush and paste in the room - No easy access to the beach for pram/wheelchair

Gym, pools and sauna are terrific. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner buffet was pretty pricy for what you got but you have the option too of ordering off the ala cart menu which I would choose in the future. Probably a fantastic spot in the summer.

My computer had crashed and I just got it back. The hotel was in a fabulous location, right on a beautiful bay in a secluded area. We had an unbelievable view on the 4th floor. The whole area was unbelievable about 15 kilometers out of Turku.

Nice but slightly aging hotel
This hotel is spacious and has a lovely view over the marina. The front desk staff were very helpful when we arrived, but trying to work out later how to order room service caused a problem due to no-one really speaking English (and unfortunately me not speaking Finnish!). The room was massive, although would have preferred them to have a double bed option rather than two singles. The breakfast was sufficient. The hotel itself is in a very slight state of disrepair, and had a general 'end of summer' feel to it (in August!).

Very Comfortable
Solo traveler so I had the entire bedroom to myself - 2 twin beds which I pushed together to form a large full-sized bed. I normally stayed in hostels prior to arriving in Turku so Ruissalo was definitely one of the most comfortable places I stayed at throughout my entire trip. The location itself is a bit out of the way. It's not in center city at all. However, there is a bus that goes directly to Ruissalo Spa Hotel and back to the central city every half-hour, for the price of 3 euros. Ruissalo has a beautiful pool and spa area - its very quiet and peaceful at 8pm, with very few people during that time. I also rented a bike from the front desk. The lady provided me a map and helmet, and I spent the entire day riding along the Ruissalo trail into center city to Turku Castle. It's a beautiful, scenic ride. Not very tough, the path is fairly level - all along the meadows, fields, and coast. Did I mention it was scenic? Overall great stay - the staff is especially wonderful. Probably one of the best staff I've ever encountered! Really loved my stay here and enjoyed Turku immensely.

Ruissalo rocks
I stayed only one night. The Hotel services are geared towards families and older individuals.. no disco or wild night life. Miles and miles of safe walking along forest paths to enjoy - suitable for all abilities. Beautiful views out of the windows on the sea side. Very quiet and serene atmosphere, ah, nice indoor swimming and sauna. Awesome breakfast spread.

The Ruissalo island is very idyllic and a great place to stay close to the nature. On the other hand there is a bus connection to the city center right from the hotel's doorsteps. The hotel itself however has a slightly institutional feel to it. It's perfectly ok, clean and 3 stars all the way, but you kind of get a 90's feel when going to the rooms. The room had an awesome view to the sea, but there is no AC and basic stuff like a hairdryer was missing. The hotel could be so much more with a small update.

The views were stunning however this is not a spa hotel in the truest sense if you are over 90 then this may be for you. If you are under retirement age then you will be the youngest there.

Possibly one of the best all-round hotels in Turku
Excellent location with splendid views from most rooms. Food was good with wide variety although hot breakfasts could have been kept hotter. You have to ask for rooms to be cleaned at weekends (we weren't told this). Beds very comfortable. Rooms can be too hot at night as no air conditioning but a key will open larger windows. Staff very helpful. Excellent half-hour bus service to Turku. Hot water at all times. We found it very quiet compared to many hotels we have stayed in with few banging doors at night.

Bird singing was disturbing
Room does not have air conditioning. Maybe typically that is not much needed in Finland, but this was a heat peak. So windows had to be open throughout the night. Bird singing is nice to hear, but only if you can stop it so it does not bother at 2am still. On positive side: many activity possibilities, some free and some paid. For example "spa" (= 3 small pools) is free.

Great for a break from sightseeing...
Hotel located outside Turku but not too far from the centre. Great for a break from sightseeing. It is a resort hotel with two pools and a big jacuzzi. Very relaxing. Book with no reservations if you have a car and are alright with the above.
