Tungurahura is an impressive volcano in the high altitude town of Banos, Ecuador. We were very lucky to be able to see "the mountain out" as we Seattleites call Mt. Rainier. I can't say enough about this hotel. It was top notch from A to Z: accommodations, property, staff, amenities, food (I only had the breakfasts), location, and services. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed at anywhere.
