Definitely older, but beautiful building, beautiful setting by the river in the trees. Great large room. Main complaint is the maze of hallways, had to go up a floor (with a lift) down a hallway then down another flight (no lift) when there was an outside door to the parking lot right by our room but "for emergency only". amenities cost extra, did not try them out.

Great hotel, excellent location. I was upgraded to a lovely room, which was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were also lovely, friendly, and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. I’d be very happy to stay here again.

The property was outstanding. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, property was immaculate. Parking was plentiful. But in the main building there was no AC and a tiny window to circulate air. That’s just a selfish opinion but that’s the only minimal complaint if you even want to call it a complaint. More like a spoiled American complaining about nothing. I’d DEFINITELY stay here again. Perfect midway point from Dublin to Galway. And if you decide to get a little lost in Roscommon, well worth the wandering.
