Clean and staff was helpful. Check in/out was smooth. Location was ideal because we wanted to explore Connemara and hike Croagh Patrick nearby. Breakfast was amazing and fueled us well for our hike.

The resort is a bit out of the way but that was what made it special. No cell phone coverage at the resort so you have time to reset and enjoy your surroundings.

Best thing about this place is the bed and reception staff. Bed was incredibly huge and comfortable. Reception staff were great, helpful and understanding.
Sadly that's it. The pool area, changing rooms and surrounding areas very unhighenic. Lots was also out of order, the steam room and jacuzzi for example. Broken hairdryers and lockers in the changing rooms. Drinks and dinner was expensive but service was pretty bad. I struggled to get served at the bar while the staff were busy arguing with eachother.
Thankfully the reception manager took the outstanding bill off for us when we left as we were so disappointed with our stay.
