conveniently located small, quiet hotel. Large size bath Lovely balcony Trees and garden view Quiet area Large room Nice sitting area. Foo foo lamp that took up desk space Large number of power outlets USB A outlet by bed Very comfortable bed . Lack of storage in bathroom Nowhere to hang wet towels to dry . Lack of space to out toiletries . Fine if a single person but for a couple , tricky . A shelf above the sink would help Or adding Big towel rails on the doors or Above the toilet . Shower door leaked water onto floor once . Shower door height was too low so had to hold shower head towards shower corner Anyone above 5 feet in height would struggle. single , small elevator, steep stairs

Lovely hotel on a lovely property. Very quiet and comfortable. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant was quite good, and we truly enjoyed our meals there.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (619 reviews)
I've been staying at the Conservatorium regularly for 12 years now, and it is remarkably consistent: great location, awesome people, striking architecture, and the best gym of all the 5-star hotels in Amsterdam. This year, though, there was one welcome change and one not-so-great one: the breakfast has improved, with the addition of a buffet, which is convenient. But they also seem to have started letting local residents use the gym, so it's now super-packed at all hours, and you have to wait for machines. The gym has always been a big part of why I stayed there, so that's disappointing.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,004 reviews)
Really nice room with fridge and free drinks, coffee machine and a safe in a great location. The only negative thing I could say is that the bed was a little lopsided so had to try and stay to one side of the bed most of the time. Overall had a great stay. Also Mohammed was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

"The property was perfectly fine and in a great location just outside of the train station and close to a taxi stand and public transportation hub. "This place was just weird. The small lobby reeked of cheap cologne - I had to hold my breath every time I walked through. You could smell it outside the main entrance, in the elevator and in the hallways. Nasty smelling stuff. The room was strange. The bathroom shower with clear glass shower door ..."
