"The carpet and bathroom tile had been updated, but the entire place was somewhat run-down. For some reason the ceiling of our room was dark grey, contributing to the overall dark atmosphere. The mattress was old and lopsided, my wife weighs considerably less than I do, yet her side was much closer to the floor. The hall smelled musty and of smoke, despite the fact that our room and adjacent ones were marked no-smoking. The exterior hall door did not lock, posing a serious security concern. The cards for our room had to be replaced three times during our visit, and even the desk staff complained about the poor magnetic strip. The bathroom tub had stains and mildew in the corners (no vent fan), and the bathroom door was warped and difficult to close and open. It does not appear that anyone takes care of the grounds either. Breakfast was ok, with several choices."
