The kitchen was fully equipped had everything that we needed. The outdoor space was perfect whether you wanted to sit in the Sun or in the shade beautiful stunning views.
Great location for bikes and hikes, and outdoor pool area was perfect for cooling off and enjoying the evening desert air. We ate outside every night, and enjoyed listening to the birds and coyotes.
The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The yard and pool area was very private. The host, Hal, was very helpful and gracious. We enjoyed our stay.Tom and Kathy
Beautiful location and spacious, comfortable home. We spent a wonderful week here and would highly recommend to others. Everywhere we wanted to visit was just a short drive away.
We just love this property, we have stayed there multiple times, and will return. This home is just what we wanted with all the amenities needed and more, very clean and well maintained.
Large house in a very nice area. Very few neighbors. Home is nicely furnished and had pretty much everything we needed. Great outdoor area with swimming pool. Pretty easy access to downtown area and a variety of places to eat. Very highly recommend staying there.
Nice property on the west side of Tucson amidst the saguaros and other beautiful desert flora. The host was excellent and we were able to relax by the pool. Dining options were plentiful in this area of town. We would definitely stay here again!
The house is very well laid out in a convenient manner, I especially enjoyed the living room area with its Oriental rug, and large TV mounted in a bookcase. The swimming pool and surrounding mountains were sublime!
A small group of long-time friends gathered in Tucson to remember a friend. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect for us near local parks, Gates Pass, and easy access to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Would be delighted to stay here again!
Everything was fine and a nice experience. The host made no attempt to meet with us and only had a name Hal. No emergency phone number no direct communication. Only through delayed emails. Being in hospitality ourselves this should be corrected. In our case probably not an issue as we know how to deal with toilets, electrical issues and storms but the average guest does not and things can happen. Just a suggestion to make a very nice place even better.Thank you GilbertOnce we made contact all went smoothly and as I said the accommodations were perfect inn every way. They were as advertised and very clean and all necessary items were in the home.Very happy overall with our 5 day stay there.
Our stay here was absolutely way over what we expected, extremely clean home outstanding views, and close to everything, I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to be one with nature.
Being from the midwest, it was very nice to experience a great place, with many great views, and close to national parks over the holidays!
The host was very helpful and the place offered a lot of things to do and plenty of space. It sounded great - and it was!
Awesome relaxing home, we visited Tucson for a family reunion. We got to see ALOT of the desert wildlife just sitting at home and the stars at night. Very peaceful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and the thoughtful amenities. View from the backyard was beautiful and the location served us well for our day trips. Hal is a great host. Communication was prompt and detailed. Thank you Hal for a wonderful stay!
The house was spacious, clean and convenient to everything. The setting is beautiful. The owner is very responsive and answered questions quickly as did the property manager. We would definitely return the next time we visit Tucson.
This is an amazing home. Very clean and the house is very roomy and well furnished. The grounds and pool area were beautiful. The owner Hal was one of the best property owners I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend this property, you won’t be disappointed.
A lovely, private, secluded home for our family vacation, our first to the Tucson area. Very quiet setting in the hills and close to hiking trails and Parks. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and one guest. Very comfortable beds. We like to cook, and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The pool and outdoor shaded area were enjoyed by all after return from daily sightseeing.
Hal, our host, ensured check in was easy and efficient. We had no issues during our stay, and the Host answered the few questions we had promptly and cheerfully.
Both the Home and Host highly recommended.
Our family of 5 stayed here as we moved our son into his freshman year at U of A. Everything was just what we wanted. Lots of room where we could relax, super comfortable beds, and a heavenly pool. The gorgeous landscaping was an added bonus. There are multiple places to sit outside and just be thankful for the beauty. It’s an easy 20 min trip to campus and even shorter trip to groceries. We will be making lots of trips to AZ from DC and would love to stay here regularly! Thank you Hal for the warm hospitality!
The location was as advertised. It felt away from all, in natural setting and yet very close to anything we needed,Tucson is not a huge city and driving is easy except rush hour. The house itself was way more than we needed. I think a larger/older family or a group of friends could enjoy it immensely. It is large, spacious indoors and out and quite comfortable.A bit warmer temperature would have made the pool a hangout. I especially loved the pool table. We took in a U of A basketball game, hiked a bit, played tennis nearby and explored the area.
Great home away from home, but much more beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and mindfully relaxing.
Our group of all out-or towners and international visitors, family and friends, were at Hal's for my daughter's graduation from U of A. The room layout is great for bonding and rekindling relationships, where we spent a lot of time hanging out rather than dining out. Friendly interior decor. To boot, the location is ideal, 20 min from the center of town and the school, and only 10 from the lovely Sauaro Nation Park.
As new VRBO renters, we were worried about the rental process, but Hal kept us updated. Thank you for welcoming us with the comp coffee and wine Hal. The place had lots of towels and kitchen amenities. The AC and fans worked fine, plus the garage to keep us and the cars cool.
A few suggestions: pls get the bathroom faucet fixed - water flow is slow. And most of us could have used a step stool to climb into the raised beds.
Thank you Hal for a memorable stay.
