It is completely separate and private from the main house, and both homes have their own backyards, pools, and hot tubs. The yards are not shared, but the main house is within 30 yards of this guest house. To access the guest house, you\`ll use a secondary driveway. When booking this guest house, please know that the main house may also be rented, or this guest house and the main house can be rented together as a compound. This guest house is a very unique 2-story dream home with stunning architecture and photo-worthy views of the Catalina Mountains! It has a one-car garage, boasts two private bedrooms, and a second-floor executive loft/open bedroom concept with a lounge area and work desk. The second bedroom is on the second floor and does not have doors; it will be somewhat open to the living space. With one king bed and two queen beds, this guesthouse comfortably sleeps 6. The entire secondary property is private to the guest. We\`re always happy to help, and you can easily reach us via the message thread in the app. Higher-end, executive homes, this master estate sits at the end of a cul-de-sac. There is zero through traffic. POOL/HOT TUB: The home has a newly constructed pool and hot tub. The pool can be heated for $84/day. The fee for the hot tub is $36.75 for 3 hours of heating. Please let us know if you\`d like one or both heated during your stay, and we\`ll be sure they\`re ready for you upon arrival. PETS: This is a pet-friendly home, and guests are welcome to bring their furry friends! There is a limit of two pets, and the associated fees are $58 for one pet and $90 for two pets. (Fees are charged per stay, not per night. For two pets, $58 is included in the initial reservation payment, and an additional fee request is sent after booking.) We ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture and that guests pick up and discard any droppings. PACKAGES & MAIL: If you need to receive packages or mail during your stay, please DO NOT plan to have anything delivered to the property. Close to shopping and attractions. The only downside is that you have to pay to heat the hot tub and pool. And you get a 3 hour window of hot tub heat per day. This is the first time I have seen this with a hot tub and opted out since we did not know when we would need it heated. The pool was cool but warm enough to swim in even though we didn't heat it. Stayed 5 nights in Feb 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Mark U. 30 Nov 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### You won't believe it's the guest house If you love modern decor -- and I am the one in our party who loves it the most -- you will love this place: the geometry of the interior lines are sometimes even trapezoidal, and there are north (mountain) and south (city lights) views from two different balconies as well as the back yard. We opted to heat the hot tub and were glad we did. Not super cold by NY standards, but the water was chilly. Well designed to highlight the spillway into the pool. Tall ceilings and a charming, open loft area add to the character. Plenty of seating in the dining area, but you'll want to dine outdoors in order to be closer to the desert and/or sky and Tucson lights. Dining might be walkable, but we didn't try on this trip. There's a nearby Einsteins, and Blanco Cocina is one of the best and most affordable menus in the area. Bring in your own Tucson Tamales if you are on a budget. If you're not from the area, be advised that most Tucson driving is city driving. So if you're planning to go the the Desert Museum, Gates Pass, the Air Museum, or Biosphere, allow time for lots of conversation at the traffic lights. Not like parts of greater Metro Phoenix, which has a freeway system ringing much of the area. We were able to have drinks at the lovely beautiful resorts (Dove, La Paloma, El Conquistador, Ventana Cny), but felt like our $ was better spent in this great guest house. ##### Mark U. Great location, perfect size house and the pool was fantastic (especially for 100 degree weather).Host was responsive and accommodating. A couple kitchen utensils were broken and replaced quickly. Todd is fantastic to work with. Very responsive and kind. We had the a/c unit go out during our stay and he was able to get it to Allen care OSS quickly and easily.
