When you stay at this centrally located home, your family will be close to everything. Only 1 minute from the University and Downtown Tucson! Only minutes walking distance to the neighborhood coffee shop, restaurants, and famous 4th Ave district, and take the electric streetcar (free transportation) throughout downtown and 4th Ave. See you soon! Enjoy all the standard conveniences of a home. Two free tandem parking spaces are provided with your stay. An additional street meter parking charge is available for any additional automobiles. The 1BR / 1BA detached cottage comes with a kitchenette and a full bathroom with two tandem parking spaces in the driveway. Additional City of Tucson Street meter parking is available for a fee - if needed If you need more space for your family and friends, the main house is 2BR / 2BA and may also be available for an additional fee per night. SEARCH AIRBNB: 2BR / 2BA Historic Downtown Iron Horse & Parking Guests staying in the 1BR / 1BA rear guest cottage have sole access to park tandem in the driveway and also use the south side gate entrance to enter the rear of the property. The steel double doors on the north side of home should remain closed at all times. Guests access staying in the 2BR / 2BA home receive two parking passes for street parking in front of the house. These parking passes should remain on the dash or mirror at all times, otherwise, a parking ticket may be enforced and charged to the vehicle owner by the City of Tucson. We stopped over in Tucson and this little place was perfectly situated for someone traveling by train. It's very close to a lively, funky neighborhood, but the street itself was very quiet. Empire Market grocery store is just steps away. The next-door neighbor’s cuckoo clock and the Union Pacific trains might be bothersome if you’re a light sleeper. So many restaurants and things to do. Place was clean and simple with a nice outdoor patio. Only thing was we thought there was access to W/D, but that is in the primary rental on this property and not accessible for this casita. Highly recommend this rental for shorter stays…it is awesome. We loved the little Iron Horse Carriage House. Small and stylish, excellent location for walking around. We loved everything about it including the owner's prompt responses to any questions. Honestly, for the price I don't feel justified in complaining about a thing, so all I will say is bring a blowdryer if you're expecting one to be there, and don't be weirded out by the brick wall behind your head on the bed, seeming paper thin. It was clean and quiet. I felt safe on the property and in the neighborhood. I walked to restaurants, a grocery store, and there is a coffee shop across the street. Stayed 1 night in Apr 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### reba A. 10 May 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Check-in #### Small but cute Nice place - would definitely stay there again- only problems were host never sent us the lock box code were the key was- he also sent me the wrong address- which made no sense- but got correct address off vrbo- he did promptly answer his phone an gave us the code - towel bar keep falling down - did inform host- other then those few minor problems - great location- very quite neighborhood- easy short walk to 4th ave- coop right there to get fresh veggies - an other needs - fun area- definitely woukd be a great place for 1 or 2 people( the carriage house) the main house is bigger an would be more appropriate for larger group- enjoyed stay - ##### reba A.
