We came to Tucson for a family wedding, and was pleasantly surprised by this home. Tucson can be a hit or miss depending on the location, but this home felt safe. The house itself was clean, and had everything we’d need to stay comfortably - including coffee and teas - such a pro after a lot of travel. The backyard WAS AMAZING. Huge with both an outdoor eating area with shade and a fire pit, out 7 year old spent a ton of time running around and playing. It appears to have recently been renovated. The backyard is large and secure. The walls are high all around offering a sense of privacy from neighbors. The neighborhood is rough and a bit rundown. The area has certainly seen better days. Despite this, I felt completely safe. It’s a quiet area which was nice. I loved the layout of the house. The indoor decor was nice. The neighborhood is safe. straight middle class neighborhood with similar houses and families. I ran in the early morning hours and felt safe. There is a large park/zoo about 1.25 miles away and running around that loop and back to house is about 5 miles. house is super secure and great fenced in back yard for privacy.
