Casa Velo is a Mid-Century Modern home built-in 1965\. This unique home features three bedrooms each well-appointed with a queen bed. There is also a queen size high quality Aerobed brand air mattress available that allows an additional two guests to sleep in the living room area. The Master Bedroom has a 3/4 bathroom and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. This home comfortably accommodates a family of eight or four individual couples sharing a residence during their trip to Tucson. Casa Velo has multiple outdoor living spaces including an outdoor kitchen, 4 person hot tub, fire pit, and water feature which further adds to the uniqueness of the property. The incredible custom metal artwork throughout the interior and exterior of the home is sure to impress you with its craftsmanship and attention to detail. Casa Velo include a desk with computer monitor with HDMI cable, remote keyboard/mouse, and color inkjet printer making this home and easy choice for those needing to work remotely during their stay. This home is equipped with Comcast’s 1 Gigabyte high speed internet offering you the fastest WIFI available in a vacation property in all of Tucson! Looking for a home for your wedding/graduation party/celebration of life event? Look no further, we allow events at our homes and have hosted several at this property! Guest Access: Parking available in driveway as well as in oversize 2 car garage available for guest use throughout their stay. There is a sliding gates which opens up to an Airstream RV we have installed permanently at the property. The Airstream RV is a segregated area on the property, but it does rent out separately so you may need to share the driveway during your stay. Guests in the RV will not access any portion of the house, the backyard or the hot tub. You can add the RV to your rental for $80/night plus a one time $80 cleaning fee if you want total privacy assuming it is not already reserved. Renting the RV will add 3 more beds and a full bathroom allowing the house to accommodate 12 guests. Other Things to Note: The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time. We accept dogs not cats for an additional $120 nonrefundable pet fee. The backyard has been modified to contain medium and large dogs. This property uses Comcast 1 Gig High Speed Internet and all TVs are streaming only, no cable box. You will need to log into your own accounts on Neflix, Amazon, Disney etc to use TVs. If there are any issues during your stay, please contact the host and give them the opportunity to address any issues before leaving a negative review or asking for a discounted stay. We no longer make exceptions to the published cancellation policy for any reason so if you want to be extra safe should you need to cancel, please purchase trip insurance. There is an RV on the side of the house that rents out separately. Guests in the RV will not access any portion of the house, the backyard or the hot tub. The RV Guests will share the driveway but the area where the RV is located is separated from the rest of the property. You can add the RV to your rental for $80/night if you want total privacy assuming it is not already reserved. This property has a front gate camera that is remotely viewable and records upon seeing motion. The camera is not actively monitored but acts as a safety device to track and record who enters and exits the home should there ever be an issue. Great space for hosting a party. Furnishings were comfortable and a/c worked great! The outdoor area was fairly messy and the windows indoors had very large cobwebs, it was clear that those don’t get clean very often. Other than that the rooms were clean and we had a pleasant stay. It took a little less then an hour to get in the house. Once in the house, the electricity wasn't working in part of the house. We were not able to make dinner the first night because of it. Important to note for future guests is that the house is lacking some vacation home essentials - be prepared to bring or buy all kitchen basics like oil, basic spices, coffee filters, etc. The home could use updated rugs, towels, and better bath products, plus reorganizing the kitchen cabinets which contain unnecessary items. Overall, it’s a comfortable home, just lacking the nice finishing touches that make vacation homes 5-star. My husband and I stayed here for a week with our two young children. While the bedrooms were cozy and the views from the enormous living room windows were picturesque, we spent most of our time in the outdoor living areas. When traveling to Arizona, the pleasant climate begs to be enjoyed, and there are no better places to enjoy it than this property's multi-level patio, outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. We ate meals, played games, watched gorgeous desert sunsets, and spotted numerous constellations from the patio and hot tub. Our children loved seeing cacti and wild desert rabbits in their own back yard. The property manager is friendly and responsive. My family and a couple of friends needed a place to stay while we were in town for my dad's funeral. I was looking for a place were we could be together outside and chat or play a game together in the evening. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs particularly in the outside area because there were lots of places around the yard to have a smaller conversation or gather as a larger group. We loved the lower area with firepit and dining table to gather around for a meal and play a game. The inside of the house was very cool! It had a mid-century/modern vibe which we loved and huge picture windows overlooking the beautiful Arizona desert. Steve was very responsive and the instructions at the house were thorough so there was no need to contact him once we were there. The kitchen was especially well stocked in terms of any cooking items you might need and we did make a couple of meals there. I would highly recommend this stay! ##### Elaine M. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This home is in a great location and close to wonderful restaurants and shops. The house is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable. We had an amazing vacation staying at Casa Velo and biking the loop nearby. The house was well situated in a quiet neighborhood with accessible bike trails and had lovely outdoor space complete with great landscaping and interesting artwork. Over all experience was great! Clean outdoor patio was awesome for gatherings speakers all through out, kitchen had everything was fully stocked. Dining table was big and great for a family dinner. Beds where super comfy. If your looking to lounge around in the living room this is not the spot couches were uncomfortable. Tv was outdated and speaker was blown out.
