Inside, Viksetra 922 is thoughtfully set up for an easy, memorable stay. The chalet features four well-appointed bedrooms, each offering a private place to unwind, including a serene master bedroom and three additional comfortable bedrooms. Two full bathrooms are available for guests. The inviting living room serves as the heart of the home, where the indoor fireplace creates a warm, cozy atmosphere after a day outside. The fully equipped kitchen makes dining in simple, with a coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. Step outside to enjoy the patio or balcony and soak in the hot tub while taking in the mountain views.

The chalet is located in Trysilfjell Hytteområde, a fantastic area for outdoor enthusiasts. It’s known for its proximity to the ski slopes, making winter skiing and snowboarding incredibly convenient. In warmer months, the area becomes a hiker’s paradise with trails for all skill levels. While the immediate surroundings focus on natural beauty and outdoor activities, the town of Trysil is a short distance away with restaurants and shops—giving you the peace and quiet of the mountains without being far from local amenities.

Arrival is straightforward. If you’re driving, free parking is available on the premises. The address is Trysilfjell Hytteområde 922, 2420 Trysil, Norway. Public transportation is limited, but the chalet offers easy access to the Trysilfjellet ski resort and is a short drive from the town of Trysil. The closest airport is Oslo Airport (OSL), about a 3-hour drive away. Renting a car is recommended for the most convenient travel and to explore the scenic surroundings at your own pace. You can also arrange a private transfer from the airport; local taxi services are available, though booking in advance is advised, especially in peak season.

Please note: check-in is at 5:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. This is a non-smoking property, and we kindly ask that you respect quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Pets are not allowed. Use of the hot tub is subject to a fee of NOK 1,900, which covers heating, post-use cleaning, and water quality maintenance—including pH level checks and chemical balancing—to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. The minimum age to rent is 23 years old. For your convenience, bed linens and essential toiletries are provided. Please be aware that Trysil has limited public transportation, so renting a car is recommended for exploring the area. Enjoy your stay at Viksetra 922!
General House Rules

No smoking is allowed inside the property. Please do not leave cigarette butts outside. If smoking occurs indoors, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.

Please do not wear outdoor shoes inside. We recommend bringing slippers for extra comfort.

Always use the kitchen fan when cooking.

Heating
The property may have thermostats by the entrance, bathroom, or other rooms. To adjust the temperature, open the thermostat cover and use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the heat.

Fireplace Use
Please use fire starters and a small amount of firewood when lighting the fireplace. Filling the fireplace with too much wood will not make it heat up faster.

Only use firewood in the fireplace. Do not burn cardboard, paper, trash, or any other materials, as this can be dangerous and may cause a chimney fire.

If you need more firewood, it can be purchased at grocery stores and gas stations.

Sauna Use
Always sit on a towel when using the sauna.

If the sauna has an adjustable dial, please follow the instructions provided at the property. In general, avoid turning the sauna heater higher than recommended, as this may prevent it from heating properly. It usually takes about 1 hour for the sauna to warm up.
