Bryce Valley Lodging Cabins

8/10 Good

"This little cabin was good overall. Clean location, I felt safe. I really wish I looked at site location in comparison to the town of Bryce Canyon. This little town is at the bottom, which means you have to make a 15 minute uphill drive to get to the actual town center. I wish this were advertised. I would have just gotten a hotel in town so I didn’t have to drive so much. But otherwise, the cabin is good. The fridge quite literally froze all of my food I brought, despite turning the dial down to ‘minimum’. This forced me to get pizza across the street both nights because I couldn’t eat my actual food I brought. The showers are teeny tiny, but the water was hot as soon as it was turned on. I saw deer right outside my cabin the first evening, that was cool. There’s a gas station with shopping right across the street, and another bigger store next to the pizza shop where you can find anything you might need. The pizza was excellent. My biggest issue: the WiFi does NOT work. I had zero reception in my cabin the entire time. I had to go across the street to use the pizza shop WiFi to get my phone to work so I could reach out to family and friends. But if you’re looking to go somewhere with no reception to get away, this is your place."

"The cabins were large size. Lots of room to move around. The porch was cute and we enjoyed sitting in the chairs at night looking out at the beautiful scenery. Beds were comfortable, it was nice and quiet for sleeping and the water for the shower/bath nice and hot. Very close to a great pizza and icecream place in Tropic and only 5 minutes from the Mosey Cave Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park. 15 minutes from the visitors Center. I would definitly recommend these cabins for their comfort, charm, and location. the price was affortable too. The only thing that could have been better was it was a bit dusty in the cabin, but everything else was nice and clean including the bathroom."

"The room looked nothing like what's advertised. They are very tiny, with a very small TV with just basic TV and it's not even mounted to the wall so not everyone can see it. Pillows very uncomfortable, did not like how there's no blinds, just a curtin and if you open them people can see in your room. I did NOT like the fact that the staff went in our room without asking and that there's no sign you can hang on the door."

"Very nice place, quiet, rural, a little back from the main street. Birdsong, deer and horses. Very nice room has everything you need. Plus your own seating area outside. Will definitely stay again as we had a great night's sleep. Great views from the porch.Finally, if you are coming from U.K this is not an lnn as you might understand it. No pub downstairs. In fact there is no one on reception at all. Not that it mattered.. I don't think there is wifi. If you have AT&T you can get a signal. TV has loads of channels, including Roku. No breakfast, but good coffee in the room. Tropic is a much better option for Bryce Canyon than the overpriced hotels in Bryce City."

"The host, AJ, met us as we drove up to the camp, with a warm welcome and doggie treats for our 2 pups. He was amazing in explaining how this unique location works. We are 'senior citizens' and haven't slept in a tent in decades, but the sleeping accommodations were wonderful - everything provided. We wondered how we would survive without electricity, but it was exactly what we needed. We got to spend such good quality time together without distractions. The camp is located just a few miles from Tropic out in the open, under the stars, and with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The camp is very pet - friendly. Bathrooms were always clean. We look forward going back there someday."

"The room itself was fine. I was expecting a separate cabin and instead shared a duplex unit with neighbors who were NOT HAPPY and slamming and stomping around most of the night. I should have asked for a different room. At check in, the staff reminded and underlined at least three times that there would be additional fees charged for basically many reasons. Our neighbors for the evening said the same thing was repeated to them and were also frustrated with this. There were also signs throughout the room that reminded us. We felt it was incredibly tacky. After all the reminders, the sink leaked and the towels and linens did not smell clean. It was fine for one night but we will not stay there again and neither will our neighbors."

"This was a great place to stay close to Bryce Canyon! It was a quiet little town with a few great places to eat that's out of the actual Bryce Canyon City area. There's also a gas station and convenience store at the main road. This was an introverts dream! We got our room info including the code to get into our room by email. We didn't have to do the typical check in process which was so nice. The room was so nice. It was very clean, and the bathroom was really big. The bed was comfy too. The AC is controlled by the "main office" but we were comfortable using the space heater that is in the room. We had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The only thing I would mention is that if you're a light sleeper, ask for the top floor. I'm a light sleeper and the people above us were walking around for a while and it made it impossible to fall asleep. Then they got up really early, so I was also awake super early 😂 I think that just happens sometimes and it's nothing the property owners can help. This was a great place to stay I would recommend it to anyway needing a place to stay on their way through!"
