Located in a private subdivision, in a quiet area, 2 minutes by car from the town center of Trois-Ilets where all the restaurants, shops are located, and on the Slave Savannah road, this 1-bedroom accommodation, called "Case Coco" in bottom of villa is completely independent and benefits from a beautiful comfort space that can accommodate 4 people. Equipped with a private spa, and an adjoining swimming pool of 10 m by 4 m, and above all heated. The accommodation overlooks the village of Trois Ilets and offers a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, the Pelée mountain, the Fort de France bay classified since 2012 among the most beautiful in the world, and the Lamentin. Ventilation des pièces à vivre à améliorer, salle de séjour et terrasse. Jacuzzi inutile dans une telle chaleur.Éclairage ambiant à repenser. Je conseille grandement d’avoir une voiture si vous désirez vous promener sur l’île, sinon vous pourriez passer une superbe semaine ou même quelques unes sans auto si vous êtes de bons marcheurs. Corinne offre l’aller retour de l’aéroport :) Tout est à proximité, boucherie, pâtisserie, supermarchés, restaurants et bien plus, mais il y a de bonne ascension et descente pour ce rendre au marché qui est à moins de 10 minutes de marche. Vous pourrez même aller à Fort de France et à certaines plages à peu de frais avec la navette journalière, 15 minutes de marche et plusieurs aller-retour par jour. L’appartement était vraiment parfait, tout y était pour faire de bon repas. Bel emplacement extérieur pour relaxer ou se baigner avec une superbe vue sur la ville et même sur Fort de France. First off, the owners are both exceptionally nice and welcoming. They spent time showing us the apartment when we arrived. They even left a welcome folder with us documenting where to eat, what to do in each town, where to go for the best beaches or rhum distilleries to visit (side note: Dillon does not do visits anymore, but the nearby La Favorite distillery has a self-guided tour and tasting), etc… The notes in the folder are in French, succinct, but very well documented, and much better than the research we had done before going to Martinique! This was very useful to us, and we took this folder with us while driving around the island. Regarding the apartment itself, it is spotless (like brand-new), as described. Plenty of towels, big screen TV, gated with remote control, etc… It is also well located, quiet, and within a walking distance to “La Guérande”, the local bakery, good for breakfast, and lunch. For us, this apartment worked great. This was our first week in Martinique, and we had chosen to spend our second week at the nearby hotel La Pagerie, just to get something different. We were able to wash our clothes at Case Coco, without worrying about the second week. There is also a phone that you can use to call the local restaurants… That was also very useful for us, just like the sun umbrella for the beach, etc, etc… and I probably forget other things… In many ways, Case Coco was actually better than the more expensively priced and smaller hotel room, and still a driving distance from the Pointe-Du-Bout (about 15 minutes). At the end of our stay, our host at Case Coco brought us some accras (sorry we could not eat them all!). All of this contributed to a wonderful experience in Martinique.
