The Vila Liza was a great location opposite the old town and views looking out across the water. The warm welcome from Maritza at check in was much appreciated. The roof terrace breakfast was delicious. It is an easy walk from the bus station and only one flight of stairs to the rooms. The rooms are simply furnished in an older building but we found everything clean and adequate. The nearby bars and cafes weren’t noisy as we stayed in a weeknight. When we got there the front door was locked, none of the phonenumbers on the door worked. Took us 20 minutes and talks back and forth with the staff in the hotel below Villa Liza for the manager to show up and unlock the door. The room was musty with a hard bed and wallpaper crumbling off. The sliding door for the shower could not close and almost fell off and hit me on the head. The whole room had a stench of tobacco and dust. Bei der Ankunft standen wir vor einer verschlossenen Tür obwohl die Rezeption 24 Std besetzt sein sollte. Wir mussten erst anrufen und nach einer viertel Stunde kam eine junge Dame und händigte uns in aller Eile die Schlüssel aus. Mit der Bemerkung um 9:00 am nächsten Morgen gibt es Frühstück und weg war sie. Am nächsten Morgen kam sie um 9:05 und fing an das Frühstück zum herrichten sodass wir um kurz vor halb zehn Uhr mit dem Frühstück beginnen konnten. Weiteres hatte ich zwei Parkplätze reserviert und bei der Ankunft mussten wir feststellen das die Vila Liza nur einen Parkplatz zur Verfügung hat. Also mussten wir unser zweiten Auto ca einen Kilometer weiter weg parken. I was never checked in by a staff member, just shown the room and ushered in. I was never checked out of the hotel either. Breakfast was supposed to be included on the experience and I never received it. However the room I stayed was directly on a busy street with a disco club next door that remains active very late. So if you are good with sleeping through noise, this is the perfect place. Spent about an hour looking for it. I went into several businesses on the correct street asking where #10 was. No one had any idea. Out of frustration I walked into a hallway off the street and found it up flights of stairs. All they had to do was say, "Drive across bridge, turn right, it is on the left above a restaurant." Tell owner ahead of time you need parking. They will block off a spot in front of hotel on main street. When reservation made, said breakfast included, but it wasn't. I was told only from May till end of Sep is it included; they would fix it for 8 EUROS each. Declined. Paid extra for sea view; was nice. Had a small porch. En liten men ok balkong med utsikt över hamn samt den äldre delen som bara var en kort bro över till Blev väldigt trevligt bemött och fick många tips när jag checkade in. Perfekt ställe när man besöker Trogir. Mysig frukost på deras terass. Glömde tyvärr lämna nyckeln. Förlåt.
