"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. I cannot stress enough how much I didn't enjoy it! There is NO way that...

"The hotel is poorly maintained, with many items being old or defective. For instance, the toilet seat would slide around every time it was used; I reported this to the management, and although they promised to fix it, no one ever did before we checked out.
