"Sandy and Kathy were very pleasant and down to earth hosts. The room was beautiful and the quality of the bedding was better than I have at home. There is parking off the street just beside the accommodations but be sure you are ok with stairs before you book as the check in desk in on the 2nd floor and rooms are on the next two floors above that. The stairs are steep but not crazy steep. There is a lovely outside area to mingle with the hosts and other guests and we were offered a complementary glass of wine which was lovely. Now there is the comical Sandy who serves you breakfast in the morning, for a very reasonable add on, ..you get granola, yoghurt and fruit, croissant and jam and coffee, tea and or juice. One guest came in a little after the others and went to pour his own coffee and Sandy told him "SIT.... you're not at the Holiday inn or Best Western, I WILL SERVE YOU" as he walked around in his kilt - YES his kilt I memorable stay -"

"We stayed at Mark's place the 1st of September for 4 nights. First night we enjoyed the amazing patio and views and then a storm rolled in. The wind was so strong it blew the patio furniture from the side of the house to the back of the house. The power went out but the generator started within minutes. It was so quiet we thought it was the power that was back on. The wind and rain kept us inside with books and games. It was really warm and cozy. In between waves of the storm hitting us we were able to venture out for nice walks. The nearby beaches and rocks were an amazing morning walk. A bit of a drive to get anywhere but you can expect that anywhere in Nova Scotia. I would recommend you pick up all of your groceries on your way to the cottage as it is a bit of a drive back. There are a lot of "hand me downs" in way of kitchenware but it all worked. Not much in the way of wine glasses, drinking glasses and coffee mugs so we picked some up at the dollar store. All the beds were comfortable and the showers were amazing. Place was so clean and inviting. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it."

"Love this cozy cottage and its beautiful location right on the ocean which is why we keep coming back. It’s always neat and clean, the kitchen has everything you need, it’s a short 20 minute drive to town for groceries, and the property managers, Cathie and BJ, are so lovely and welcoming."
