We were in town for sight seeing and a wedding. Within 5 minutes of the venue and 20 minutes from Cloudcanyon Sate Park and Raccoon Mountain. The area is peaceful and the beds were supper comfy. The smell was overpowering - not sure if it was animal urine or pesticide application; the toilet in the master bath would get stuck causing the macerating pump to run all night (sounded as if someone was banging on the floor literally every 2 minutes); holes in the wall; open spaces around front door; one air conditioner in living room - none in other areas; shower curtain liner missing in one bath and mildewy in the other. There was blood stains on the mattress, all kinds of stain on the pillows and carpet in the mastered room. The carpet had a smell to it like it was soured. Most of the light bulbs were burnt out, the doors don't close properly and leaves large gaps for air and bugs to come in. There were dead bugs in the light fixtures. When we got to the house we were surprised to see a small window unit. The house was very hot and humid. I tried to adjust the the central AC but the unit would not cut on. I have been an HVAC tech for 50 years. I contacted the rental company and learned that the AC went out during the previous guests stay. I was advised that there was another ac in the closet. It was a portable that had to be vented through a window. Neither window could be secured and there were cracks open to the outside. If someone want to break in, they would have had no trouble. We would have NEVER rented this house in this condition. The least they could have done was to contact us and let us know that the AC was not working. They didn’t offer any compensation for our inconvenience so we asked for reimbursement of one day rental fee, but they would only agree to 1/2 a day. This very deceptive and unethical. We would not recommend renting ANY property through this management company. Worst experience we have ever had. ##### sam s.
