About this property
Grady's Hideaway | Rustic Couples Cabin w/Hot Tub
Welcome to Grady's Hideaway! Escape to the mountains in the heart of Trenton, Georgia and stay in this beautiful split level cabin surrounded by peaceful pristine woods. The private hot tub awaits you and the spacious outdoor deck has plenty of seating for your group to enjoy. This 1 bedroom cabin offers a king sized bed and 1 full bathroom with beautifully updated tiled shower. Downtown Chattanooga is just 30 minutes away!! Chattanooga has a great restaurant scene and has some amazing attractions like Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Tennessee Aquarium.
Home Layout & Details: When entering the front door of our cabin the kitchen is on the left and a dining table with seating for 4 is on the right. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to make a meal during your stay; Pots, pans, plate-ware, dish-ware, drink-ware, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Straight ahead is the king bedroom that has a smart TV as well as a full bathroom with a large standing shower. Head upstairs to the living quarters where you will find plenty of seating for 4 and a twin trundle bed adjacent from the smart TV. One of our favorite things is the cozy book nook which is our favorite place to unwind and relax for some quiet time.
Things to know: 1. Dogs: This property is dog-friendly. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed. 2. There is another cabin on the opposite side of the property. Guests in that cabin do not have access to this cabin or its surrounding areas. 3. The upstairs loft is not suitable for young children due to the steep staircase. 4. The cabin is located on a hillside below White Oak Gap Road, so you may hear some road noise through the trees during your stay. 5. This property is under camera surveillance and has exterior cameras facing the driveway.
HOT TUB: Hot tub maintenance is very important and it's something that we take very seriously in between guest reservations. If the hot tub has to be dumped for sanitary and health safety reasons on a turnover day when the property is booked back to back, it may take 8-12 hours for it to reach high temps. We do the best we can to be proactive with this but ultimately it is out of our control to make the hot tub heat up faster. Health and safety for our guests is very important to us.

I loved how it was tucked away, yet close to town. It was just a short drive to Chattanooga so it was a perfect location! Very clean and looked just as good as the pictures.
From the moment we got to the cabin to the time we left, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were looking for a quiet, cozy, romantic getaway and this was perfect! The hottub, hammock, outdoor fireplace and sitting areas were some of our faves! The inside had a loft upstairs and it was perfect for the 2 of us! We loved it!
My daughter & I were traveling across the country with our dogs. This place was a great, dog friendly stop over 1/2 way through. Bed was comfortable. Although the listing states that you can hear road noise, that is true ONLY when I was outside. It was quiet and peaceful for sleeping and inside. Hot tub was a great bonus after a long drive. Thanks!
The property has a lot of potential and is in a beautiful area and near a lot of places to visit. However, there were a few things that made it more difficult for a family to stay: furniture and blankets were covered in dog hair, stains on pillowcases, no dresser or closet to be able to unpack, no laundry facilities, a lot of road noise, and one night it sounded like we were in the middle of a gun range. The fire pit is wonderful. Hot tub was nice but no step to help get into it. A few of the blinds also wouldnt close so it was very bright at night. The address isnt valid in google maps or with waze so that made it a little more difficult. It really is a beautiful area though, and it has a lot of potential.
This is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at, very friendly hosts, very clean besides a few hairs. The hottub was so relaxing, If you need a good place to get away and escape noise this is it.
Enjoyed the privacy, luckily no one was staying next to us during our stay. The neighbored house is a little aways but we typically like full privacy. The house layout was nice and everything seemed to be upgraded!
The cabin was small but perfect for myself and my husband. Unfortunately you do hear the road traffic quite a bit from the house. The internet was too slow for streaming shows in the bedroom without interruption, but it worked perfectly fine upstairs in the loft/living area. Overall we were happy with our stay.
The cabin was nice and the management was good. It was kind of a weird location and prattey for from Chattanooga for the money. Overpriced definitely, but what isn't.
I wanted a weekend getaway for me and my now fiancé after the holiday rush. A quiet place for us to relax and breathe for a weekend. Chattanooga basically right down the road was fantastic. We weren’t there 5 minutes and smiling h ear to ear from the quiet. Spent have the time in the hot tub or upstairs comfy watching a movie. Perfect place for us and perfect spot for me to propose and she said Yes!

Cabin
Our cabin was disappointing on several levels, it began with the front door which is hard to open and close. The door binds in the frame, at one point I was afraid the doorknob would pull off. This would be very inconvenient because the cabin has only one door. The air freshener used in the cabin aggravated my wife’s asthma. It had some sort of strong chemical smell to her. We opened the windows which reduced the issue.
Three evenings, someone in the neighborhood used a high-powered rifle for target practice. This was unsettling, not knowing where the bullets were striking.
Outside the cabin, the hammock had a hole in it. We were not sure if we would fall through. Another safety issue is the gravel on the downhill path from the parking area. It’s very easy to slide and fall.
We cannot recommend the cabin, in its current state.
