We stayed in spring so the garden was filled with daffodils, hellebores and daphne. Spent hours in front of the fire playing cards, cooked breakfast and dinner in the well equipped kitchen and strolled down the quaint streets of the town. It was very restful. Staying in the oldest church in Trentham was an absolute treat!Renovated to perfection with all the details of the church preserved. Beautiful fittings and furnishings, and all the mod cons. Really comfy beds and a large lounge room with leather couches to relax in front of the indoor fire. A large beautiful garden with outdoor fire pit to enjoy and lots of room for doggies to run. With split system heating, it was warm and cosy and great kitchen amenities. Very homely. Only 5 mins walk to town. Lovely food and great coffee to enjoy.
