Visitors have been seeking out the healing properties of the springs here since the 13th century and today it promises massages, swimming and pampering. Relax in Turkish-style rooms or swim outdoors with panoramic views of the landscape. Party with the locals at Pohoda Festival, a massive open-air event in Slovakia, which welcomes big names in world music every July. For a quieter musical event, take a seat at the Piarist Church of St. Francis Xaversky, an elegant Baroque building that hosts classical music concerts throughout summer.
