"We have had a wonderful holiday in Tuscany! The villa was lovely, including pool & other amenities and the countryside sublime! We visited Florence & Siena but be prepared for longer journeys than you might expect, simply because you are in the countryside so lots of long, winding roads and less motorways. We also visited local castles (Romena and Poppi) within ten minutes drive of the villa, and a local vineyard (3 mins away) called Podero Bellosguardo. There was a heatwave while we were there...

"This property is amazing! So quiet and serene away from the city. Visiting Florence is easy and I did it 2 times during my stay. U simply drive down the mountain about 15 min to San Lorenzo and catch 1hr train to Florence. The pool is amazing and the house has so much history. The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes up some of it is unpaved but it is well WORTH it. Fantastic for families."

"Our Stia stay was exactly what we were looking for as a family of 2 grandparents, 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren, age 2 and infant, plus 3 other adults at times. We enjoyed a walkable town and excursions throughout Tuscany. Lucia was top notch and made our two weeks extraordinary - she booked a private chef, a pizza night at the home pizza oven, suggested wineries and helped with some transportation needs. She was attentive to all our requests! It's a beautiful property with a lovely pool...

"Uns ist durchaus bewusst, dass ein Landhaus nicht blitze blank sein kann, was wir vorgefunden haben, ging aber eine sehr großes Stück über das Normale hinaus. Da man das auch mit einmal Durchputzen nicht beseitigen kann, haben wir auf das Angebot von Ana, die Putzfrau nochmal zu schicken verzichtet und haben uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Wenn man bei er Ankunft gesagt bekommt, "die Fenster sind nur von innen geputzt sind, von aussen nicht, aber das ist ja eh egal", sollte man aber auch...

"A wonderfull big house with 4 to 5 bedrooms and a great garden with a nice pool, ping pong table, children’s slide etc. Also an outside pizza oven and a BBQ place. We were treated with delicious Italian pasta and lasagne and the owners were very helpful with everything. We had a lovely stay with our family and 2 grandchildren."

"We spent a lovely two weeks in this beautiful house! Monica was super responsive to all our questions in the weeks before our trip and her fresh pasta was such a delicious treat! The house itself is perfect for a family holiday, hidden in the woods but a short drive from Poppi and its restaurants. It has everything one needs and is very comfortable, the stunning views from the pool are an added bonus! We hope to come back soon!"
