"The location of this apartment is excellent and it's a great option if you're travelling with a dog, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our stay was let down by several housekeeping issues. When we arrived, there were IKEA bags containing previous guests' dirty towels left in the hallway, which should have been removed before our arrival. "Such a great place to stay in Holyhead, I highly recommend! The rooms were nice and clean, pet friendly, very quiet, and the breakfast was affordable and delicious! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had 4 heavy suitcases and the owner, Phil, gave us a ride to the train station himself."

"I'd give 5 stars however, we had rude customer service in the bar area, the room was not very functional, and there were very few amenities - no shampoo nor soap for the shower. The bathroom sink handles were difficult to crank to turn the water on. Then, to turn the water off, you had to use your clean fingers to touch the dirty handles and crank them a bunch to shut the water off....Anyone see a problem here? Not functional. The bathroom was large however it needed another towel rack and more than 1 hand towel. There was nowhere to set our toiletries; good thing I did not have makeup to apply. Not functional. The soap dispenser was VERY impractical - it wasted soap and you couldn't tell how much soap was left. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decent....Not ideal for someone with food allergies, though, as it's a buffet. It was VERY loud in the dining area - we were there for Monday and Tuesday breakfasts. The evening front desk person was very nice. The complementary cookies were so stale, even though they were not expired per the packaging. Dinner is only served til 8:30pm (and by reservation) so coming back late from sight seeing and needing dinner did not bode well for us. Insert the poor service in the bar area."

"Fantastic place to stay, host was unbelievable with information and helpfulness prior to staying and then someone came round on our first day to make sure everything was okay - it was Fantastic.Every where was very clean and very tidy, there is everything you could possibly need, lots of towels, lovely bedding...and lots of memories made.Wish we were still there...."

"The lady who checked us in was pleasant, polite and helpful. Rescuing me when I couldn't find our room. Signage to our room number would have been an advantage. The building is old, so no lift. We had a room on the top floor. The toilet was slow to fill, which eventually stopped working by the morning. The shower had great pressure, but no cold water to cool it down, so could be dangerous. We reported both at reception the next morning. Good size room and comfy bed. Bikes felt safe left in car park. No breakfast included, so used the pink cafe across the road. No food being served the night before as a party booked. Plenty of take a way places to choose from in the town. Staff when we left were not as conscious as the lady the previous evening."
