Beautiful property with all the comforts of home. Host has thought of everything and is easy to communicate with. Would not hesitate to stay here again if i was in the area.
We had a wonderful stay. The property is perfect for a couple looking to relax with each other in nature but still be 5-10 minutes from restaurants. Went to a Pit Spitters game and tried local eateries/breweries. Our favorite was the time spent on the cabin's dock just watching the pontoons go by and soaking in the peacefulness.
Took a couple day get away to check out the area and wish we had stayed longer. Kristi was accommodating with the number of days we needed. Everything was clean and ready to go and the short walk to the river is worth it.
This property was amazing. Very clean. Just as described in the listing. Lots of snow all around. The perfect place for a short winter getaway. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.
We love it, just what we wanted. Secluded area and plenty of places to scout around and explore. Never bored and plenty to eat, shop and explore nature.
The home is really cozy. Its settled in the woods with the river right thru the back yard. Plenty of things to do withing an hours drive in any direction.
The A-Frame cottage was clean, cute and just a wonderful place to stay. It’s equidistant to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Petoskey area. Traverse City is close too, but the cottage is conveniently away from the bustle of TC. Kristi is an attentive and conscientious host. We will definitely return!
The property was very cozy and was as described in the listing. It was perfect for a wintertime getaway! The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for curling up with a book! The property was well stocked and came with a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking as well as coffee and tea. Kristi, the hostess, was very kind and responsive. We would love to stay here again next time we're in northwestern Michigan!
Overall our experience at this VRBO was great. It’s a nice sized cabin, has a short walk to a beautiful river and is quiet and secluded. The owner was quick to respond when needed and we had no issues at all. There are a ton of deer in the area along with other little wildlife so be cautious if out and about at night. I’d definitely stay at this cabin again.
Another amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The cottage has anything you need from the fully-equipped kitchen to the chairs down by the river. The only disappointment was that we had to leave! We will be back! 😁
We stayed here during the second part of our family vacation and it was absolutely amazing! This was my first time renting and Kristi was so helpful with suggestions of kid friendly things to do in the area. We were immediately impressed when we walked in with the organization, coziness, and cleanliness of the property. We used the canoe by the river and were so grateful of the touches that made our stay easier and more enjoyable.
Checkout was a breeze and we even had the pleasure of meeting and talking with one of the owners, so kind! Already looking at a future stay! Would 10/10 recommend!
This place checked all the boxes of place we were looking for. Location made it easy for us to visit surrounding attractions-place was super cute and clean-able to enjoy a bonfire in the back yard-secluded and nested in the woods but still had all the convenience of comfort. Reasonable priced. Easy to see why the owners are Super Host. The only negative was the bed had a hard mattress. Made it uncomfortable for my husband bad back
We loved every minute of our stay. When we first got there we saw a buck in the yard! The house is simple and quiet. The short walk to the dock is worth it. We walked to the dock at 1 am and we saw the stars light up and we could see them reflecting in the river! It was incredible. We took a drive around Torch Lake, but we actually preferred the cabin! We would come back again and again.
This cottage is beautiful. The place was very clean. Kristi, the owner, is very prompt in reaching out and she is very helpful with suggestions about things to do around the area. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown Bellaire which is a charming town.
The back deck is a great spot to observe deer and other wildlife. The river is a 5 minute walk and everything is as described. Next time we will have take the canoe out.
Great place. Great time. We can’t wait to return!
We both had a fantastic time, it was peaceful, the surrounding of the woods , walking to the lake with nothing but nature was awesome. We took out the conoe and did some fishing. Also we went on the bike trails, very fun. The cabin itself was very cozy and comfortable. In town we went to Dockside, Shorts Brewery, Bee Well and Bellaire bar very cool atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place . The owners were very plesant as well. Thank you for the serenity .
Fondly ,
Jamie and Stacy
