BUT under no circumstances take the tour operators they supply. It took us 7 hours in an appalling old smelly van to get to Pattaya. I missed my flight and the driver was both aggressive and very rude. I was told it would take maximum 5 hours. There were no traffic jams but the van wouldn't go above 70kms an hour. The driver spent at least 5 hours of the 7 on the phone. We all agreed he was super rude. Pool towels provided. There’s lots more beds down by the sea and bar area anyway which is great. The staff very nice. Resident cats very cute. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you. Just wish the elephant camps would become sanctuaries on the island. Nothing to do with the hotel though but that sadness won’t leave my mind.
