"Spent a week at the Neighbours Magnolia Hotel, and it was an OK property, but if one takes the price into account, I would rate it as below average. Water in the shower was warm at best, with absolutely no water pressure. I brought this issue to the front desk 3 times, but nothing was done about it. If you are not at least 6 feet tall, good luck reaching a towel hook or seeing yourself in the bathroom mirror. We were on the basement level, and people (not sure if they were just people on the street or guests) liked to sit outside the bedroom windows at night and have loud conversations with each other or on their cell phones at night. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Good location - a quiet street but very accessible for public transport, cafes/restaurants and important museums. Staff - very attentive and helpful, always available. Breakfast - fairly standard international breakfast menu of good quality, with additional options made available on request. Room - top floor single room perfectly adequate size for all practical needs but inevitably felt a little small and dark because of the layout of the roof space and window. Sometimes rather warm at night even with airconditioning on. Would visit again. "

"Housekeeping could have been better. Water glasses were not properly cleaned, a bath towel put in our room after cleaning was dirty, wash clothes were forgotten one day. Also, a problem with HVAC, was turned off inexplicably and had to call down to rectify."
