The staff was polite and felt safe staying there as a solo traveler. I originally was supposed to travel with a group of individuals but flights got canceled or changed. So I ended uo spending my birthday alone and the staff were sweet enough to sing happy birthday to me and give me a free dessert. My private pool over looked a beautiful view and the main pool was gorgeous as well. My room was also maintained nicely. The app I downloaded for transportation was not working, however staff was able to assist me with rides to places I wanted to visit. If I were to return to Bali I would stay at this resort again. The design is odd in general. It’s a bit run down. Huge parts of it seem to be in process of demolition. On one hand, it’s a ghost town. It does not seem like very many of the rooms or suites are inhabited. Yet the place is also teeming with Russians- and the stereotypes are true, Russians are, in general, cold and often come across as rude. This hotel catches this vibe. The price we paid was amazingly cheap. But did not include access to the gym. Access to the gym and recover for a couple is significant. I think it cost almost as much as our room did for the 3 days we were there. Would I stay here again? No, but it wasn’t an automatic no. I had to think about it. The rate was suuuper cheap. But nah. I’d rather pay a little more elsewhere and escape the weird architecture/ design and cold vibes.
