Spa and pool complete the package and its location ideal for a short stop to continue travel to France, north or south Germany or for spending a few days exploring Freiburg. (134 reviews) The pool was great, but we couldn't use it or the jacuzzi on our last morning because of an Aquafit class. Although the check-in was efficient we were not told about the Konus Card available to visitors for free train and bus travel in the Black Forest. We learnt of this in the local tourist information office, but only after we had checked out. The use of a fan in the non-aircon room would have been a bonus.
