"Overall the room was nice and outdated. The bed was comfortable, and being was clean and the showers were hot. The room could use a deep cleaning, the vent was covered in dust and you could see dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom flooring. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was decent. We were on the 1st floor and the creaking floors above were obnoxious when trying to fall asleep and stay asleep it is very loud sounding. "

"We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and it was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed the our plans to cook in just for breakfast and one dinner. It was extremely close to the New River Gorge which was where we planned two of our days to be. A few nearby towns big enough to grocery shop, eat out, and just walk around and experience the area. More than enough space for the two of us to get ready and do our personal work that we needed to get done while away. Will absolutely be recommending to...

"We have a big enough family group that we actually needed to rent 2 houses for a couple a few days. With 2 living room spaces, it was a nice area to spread out and hang out. The fire pit and hot dog sticks were a nice touch (and they included a lighter and lighter fluid as well!). The smaller kitchen counter space was a bit challenging to work with for a group, but they had plenty of pans and utensils. Fans in each of the bedrooms were appreciated by some of the guests. :-)"

"Very clean, well-appointed lodging, full kitchen, comfortable living room, comfortable and quiet bedroom. It's obvious that the host cares a lot about the property. Across the street is a wonderful bakery/breakfast/ coffee shop. Great place to access the National Park and Hawk's Nest State Park. Host made everything very easy. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. Also understand it's a 2nd floor apartment, as not everyone can climb stairs with suitcases. Definitely would stay again."
