We found PUR after arriving on the island and realizing our original accommodations weren’t what we had hoped for. We couldn’t be happier with our stay! The staff is absolutely fantastic, and the bartenders are amazing. You’ll especially love Lucy, Flor, and Marlin. They will take incredible care of you! We absolutely loved the intimate, boutique-style resort and the personal attention from the entire team. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay special. From booking dinner reservations to arranging a replacement golf cart when they noticed ours was leaking gas, to finding us a ride to the airport during heavy rain, the staff consistently went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It’s that level of personal service and genuine hospitality that makes PUR so special. We’re so glad we found this place, and we can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful, intimate resort where you feel truly cared for, PUR is the place to stay!

I stayed here alone in one of their villas. The first two days were amazing. The staff was great, and I had such a good time. Unfortunately, that completely changed after a very frightening experience. On my second day, one of the male workers asked for my phone number and told me I was beautiful. As a woman traveling alone, I already felt that this was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. That same night, at around 4 am I woke up to someone trying to open the door to my bedroom. Thankfully, I had locked it. I got up and asked who was there, and a man responded that his name was “Jerome” and said that we had met earlier. I immediately started screaming, and he left. I cannot describe how terrifying it was to wake up in the middle of the night, alone in a villa, to a man trying to enter my bedroom. The experience completely changed how I felt about staying there, and I ended up cutting my trip short. What started as an amazing vacation turned into an experience that has left me deeply shaken. I am sharing this because other women, especially women considering staying here alone deserve to be aware of what happened to me.
