"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. Security is excellent—you are screened each time you enter the property, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay.
The staff were phenomenal. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and eager to help. One of the bell staff recommended a local tour guide, and that recommendation became one of the highlights of my trip. I completed two tours with the guide and had an amazing experience.
The hotel itself is very high-end, and the atmosphere was relaxed and professional. Having an ATM on-site was also very convenient.
My room was excellent, with a beautiful view and every amenity I needed. Housekeeping was outstanding, and everything was consistently clean and well maintained. The dining options were great as well. I enjoyed both the main restaurant and the pool area across the street, which offered beach views, music, games, comfortable daybeds, and a full food and drink menu.
The only drawback for me was the spa. Most of the staff I encountered there spoke French but limited English, and I wasn’t comfortable booking services without being able to communicate clearly.
Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The service, security, amenities, and atmosphere were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dakar."
"Staff were very friendly, rooms weren't the nicest but they all have incredible ocean view. Restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. Overall great experience"
"Our Family Room could use a little refreshing, but aside from that, our stay was absolutely perfect.
The breakfast and lunch kitchen teams were exceptionally kind and attentive, and the reception staff were equally welcoming and professional. I also needed to work during my stay, and the internet connection was excellent — fast, stable, and very reliable, which made a real difference. Food was also diverse and very good.
I have stayed in many Novotel properties, particularly across Europe, and this one truly stands out as the best experience I’ve had so far.
A special thank you to Ousmane, Safietou, and the lovely lady welcoming guests at the restaurant entrance for their outstanding service and warm hospitality.
We will gladly return."
"We just returned from a month-long stay at Ker Yaye Fatou. As a large family of 7 it offered us more than enough space to fully enjoy one another’s company! Both Mr. Mbaye and Armando Mane made sure all of our needs were met. The house was cleaned daily by Seynabou. which we really appreciated. Mane went out of his way to answer any questions as well as secure and maintain the property. It is a beautiful spacious home not far from the beach, Diamniadio, Yène and Popenguine. The pool was well maintained. We even did a little pool-side barbecuing! Thank you and hope to see you soon! "
