The house itself is located steeply on a slope and therefore the apartment is, seen from the front, in the 2nd floor. Frome behind, however, in the fifth! The motto here is a lot of air and space in the open 2 floors. Upstairs a spacious double room, downstairs living room, kitchen, bathroom and a smaller double room + an arcade terrace overlooking the tall treetops of the village well. The apartment is very bright and quiet and invites you to linger. Get up and take the first coffee on the terrace. The whole day is open in front of you, planning excursions by car or "just" walking around the village. Vineyards lure for a walk, Priorat wine tasting in every village, gorgeous landscapes, hiking to the top of the Montsant, talk to the villagers, go to the swimming pool in the summer or visit dream cities like Barcelona or Tarragona (World Heritage Site and Roman city par excellance). The beaches of the Costa Dorada are waiting, we can tell you the best ones! The children would be excited to visit Port Aventura or Enjoy the high speedtrain AVE and be in Madrid in three hours, discover the Oceanarium in Valencia or go to the Ebro Delta or none of it, stay home and enjoy a good book, a glass of wine in the evening, walk down to the Siurana river 10 minutes from the village. You can hike to the next villages (Gratallops, Porrera, Poboleda, etc.), eat there and hike back in the late afternoon, all this and much more is possible with us. We have been vacationing in the Priorat area for over 40 years and are always discovering new, unexpected and exciting things. Body, mind and soul are happy! Beautiful views or surrounding hills and mountains. A kind host with great hospitality! La literie est impeccable, propreté nickel. Côté cuisine, ça se complique : une table de cuisson de deux plaques, si petite qu’on ne ne peut pas y mettre deux casseroles en même temps (+ les graduations de cuisson effacées et fonctionnant à l’inverse de la France : les courgettes ont mis du temps à cuire mais c’ est le charme des gîtes :)). Très peu de matériel de cuisine, un petit four électrique pour réchauffer une pizza. Pas de souci dans une ville où il y aurait des restaurants à proximité (en même temps, « chez moi » je ne vais pas manger au restaurant tous les soirs). Autre point sensible, l’aeration de la mezzanine : il y a deux velux et nous avons périlleusement (en montant sur une chaise branlante) à en ouvrir et caler un des deux velux pour avoir une peu d’air (nous étions fin août avec des journées à 30 degrés C). Pour le reste, c’ est super (une fois qu’on a compris comment remonter l’auvent), la terrasse, le village (nous y étions au début des vendanges), le vin (le priorat est une expérience à part) et la région (dépaysement assuré). ##### Sabine L. Appartement assez spacieux pour une famille de deux enfants. Calme et agréable. Proche des commerces de falset. Pas trop éloigné de Réus où l'on peut visiter le musée Gaudí et se perdre dans les ruelles aux bâtiments art nouveau. Les plages sont accessibles à 35 min de voiture.
