The hotel has access to some trails but not all. The room was simple but well appointed, spacious and clean, and had a phenomenal view of the lake. It was a bit warm in the afternoon with no way of cooling it other than leaving the door open or closing the shade. I would also love a kettle in the room. Other than that, the restaurant and coffee bar were excellent, the service was great, and the location incredible. The staff is exceptionally polite and attentive, and the food is outstanding. The rooms are beautiful, with gorgeous vistas. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you take their excursions. If you're planning to navigate to Glacier Grey, the hotel serves as the meeting point. We booked a half-day trek through the hotel, and our guide, Nicolas, was very attentive and always answered our questions. Due to isolation the hotel restsurant is the only choice. They had a large tour group there snd the night we ate there the staff was overwhelmed. We ended up going to bed without dinner. The next morning the remnants of the dinner bill had already been removed from the bill. Well done. The beds have old coil mattresses and are on wheels. Not comfortable. We arrived after a long day at 7 PM. Our room wasnt ready. Im not sure why.
