Cozy family villa at the Mar Menor Golf Resort

"We have just spent a week in this villa and it was very much a home from home. It had everything we could need. I also want to thank Laura for making it possible to check-in to the villa early, that was a great help. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be back."
Apartment with balcony and pool views

"You need to have a car to stay at the resort its huge. The locking mechanisim on the door locks the inside but no key. Only outside you can open with the key, but it drains battery quick and needs charging over night, so you can get out. Which requires a specific charge connection. Lock box would be better. Dont lock yourself on balcony, no handle to open it from the exterior. We got locked out on it ...but thankfully front door to appartment didnt lock, so someone could gain access to let us in.It was clean and new, but not much going on for time of year. Still a bit of building work. Apartment was very nice and had space. Everything you need in kitchen. Tv n couch area fine. Bed was hard in a way I just couldnt sleep, nor my partner. Couldnt figure out how the ceilig fan turned on in the bedroom. Although air con worked fine. A normal mattress could enhance the experiance of the stay. Pool area lovely too. And clean. More wifi needed around the lagoon area. Beach hut was shut a lot. The strip by the golf resort is great but far to walk all the time. Car needed for that. Taxis not too easy to get hold of and can be expensive.We had a nice stay but just not much atmosphere at the resort club resturaunt n information not about to say whats what. Waiting time for drinks and tatas bravas to take back to the lagoon because beach hut shut took nearly 2 hours. My partner thought ad left him and gone back the apartment. Then after the long walk back beach no folks"

Immaculate Apartment Overlooking the Pool CEI35-5

"We stayed here as a couple in September 2026. The property is immaculately presented with the well proportioned pool at the end of the garden. The location on the resort is excellent with the padel club and bar just on the corner. Outside the complex is the boulevard with over a dozen restaurants and bars, this is only a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."

Modern villa with private pool on 5 star Golf Resort

"I'd like to say upfront that we were a little bit unlucky with our stay and that the host did everything they could to improve our situation after we had arrived. Unfortunately for us the guests before us had allowed their dogs to climb all over the furniture and bedding which meant that there were black dog hairs absolutely everywhere. The cleaning company had not done a very thorough job and for the first night we had to contend with pillows and sheets covered in dog hairs. But the host was quick to organise a proper clean the next morning which mostly fixed the issue however there were so many dog hairs that some remained. Our cleaning fee was also refunded. I know going forward that the host will no longer allow pets so this should not be an issue for future guests.Our second issue was that on the second night the credit on the air-conditioning pre-payment meter ran out and at 11pm the AC shutdown. That meant we had a sleepless night in 30 degrees with no AC and no fans. Again though, the host sent somebody to fix the issue the next day and after that we had no problems with the AC. To prevent this happening again, I think some standalone fans should be kept at the property.For the villa itself, the bathrooms are lovely and modern and it's a great location with a fantastic strip of bars and restaurants close by and the beaches only a 10-min drive. The kitchen area and utilities does need updating but it has everything you need for a short stay. The pool was great."
