"Beautiful hotel and room, with a classic style. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Food and drink options and quality really good. Would definitely revisit. The outside of the property looks like it could do with a refresh / paint in areas, but suppose you need to consider the dry climate and lack of rain. Had a lake view room, the lake isn’t great at the moment, with a lack of water and rubbish however this is not the hotel’s responsibility. Could have more parasols around the pool area, if you are a little later arriving, there isn’t a lot in comparison to sunbeds and this place gets very hot!"

Modern villa with private pool on 5 star Golf Resort

"I'd like to say upfront that we were a little bit unlucky with our stay and that the host did everything they could to improve our situation after we had arrived. Unfortunately for us the guests before us had allowed their dogs to climb all over the furniture and bedding which meant that there were black dog hairs absolutely everywhere. The cleaning company had not done a very thorough job and for the first night we had to contend with pillows and sheets covered in dog hairs. But the host was quick to organise a proper clean the next morning which mostly fixed the issue however there were so many dog hairs that some remained. Our cleaning fee was also refunded. I know going forward that the host will no longer allow pets so this should not be an issue for future guests.Our second issue was that on the second night the credit on the air-conditioning pre-payment meter ran out and at 11pm the AC shutdown. That meant we had a sleepless night in 30 degrees with no AC and no fans. Again though, the host sent somebody to fix the issue the next day and after that we had no problems with the AC. To prevent this happening again, I think some standalone fans should be kept at the property.For the villa itself, the bathrooms are lovely and modern and it's a great location with a fantastic strip of bars and restaurants close by and the beaches only a 10-min drive. The kitchen area and utilities does need updating but it has everything you need for a short stay. The pool was great."

"Excellent villa!Beautiful pool, bigger than average on resort. Perfect balance of outside areas for sun & shade throughout the day. Couldn't be better!Our 5th time on Mar Menor & would say this was our best all round villa yet!Very well equipped inside & out. A bonus to have the paddle rackets to use as well, thank you. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely townhouse, not too far from either a pool, the Spar or the town centre. Excellent communication from both Kevin and Vicki the keyholder. We had an issue with the toilet and within a couple of hours, the plumber was out and sorted it. Thanks so much"

"Maison agréable, bien décorée et fonctionnelle. La cuisine est plutôt bien équipée. La piscine privée est un vrai plus ainsi que les 3 terrasses. Celle à l'étage a 1 magnifique vue sur le coucher de soleil.Communication facile avec le propriétaire. L'entretien de la piscine est réalisé 2 fois par semaine que vous soyez présent ou non."
