Good location and nicely decorated rooms, but best for a short stay. The property operates more like an AirB&B with limited staff and no real security. There is no in‑room safe for documents or valuables, and all rooms open directly to the street. One night a distressed individual tried to break into our unit and others, requiring multiple police calls. Amenities were unreliable: the bike/beach chair rental center only opens 10–7, making it unusable for early morning bike ride before it gets hot or getting beach chairs to watch sunset, and it didn’t open at all one day. Housekeeping is every other day and limited to making beds and changing towels—no sweeping. We were assigned a smaller room than booked, and the manager was rarely on site. Instead of correcting the mistake, the hotel blamed Expedia, then promised a credit, and ultimately charged the full amount mid‑stay despite our “pay at checkout” selection. Expedia later confirmed the room was assigned incorrectly and that the hotel never contacted them. Resolving the issue required multiple calls, emails, and a credit card dispute, taking valuable time from our vacation.

Went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and stayed two nights.This older property was well maintained. We had a clean and quiet bayside room with a balcony. The staff was great.We enjoyed pool and jacuzzi time, took a complimentary bike ride and hot sauna. My wife had a massage and the filet mignon from the onsite Vessel restaurant was to die for! The drinks were pricey, but good. Really couldn’t have asked for too much more.
