This was a great stay overall. The location is fantastic and the parking space in the back was really great to have. The room I stayed in was on the top floor and it was extremely dark. The area where the desk and fridge were located only had a dim desk lamp and I had to use the light on my phone to find things in my bag in that area. The other lighting in the room is dim and there needs to be some ceiling lights in that area. My parent’s room next door had ceiling lights above their desk and their room was much brighter than mine. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Budget hotel not suited for all. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and sights. Room on the fifth floor with afternoon sun and inappropriate blinds. A fan was supplied but the room was unbearably hot. Room also not as pictured on the website; broken window sills with insulation showing, air exchanger vent filthy, one chair, dirty drawers.

In the lobby restaurant, I came across a framed historical document dated October 31, 1924. It contained a thoughtful argument for naming the hotel Grand Hotel, declaring that the name “would imply attractive conditions for a first-class establishment.” A century later, I can wholeheartedly affirm that sentiment. The name is not merely fitting; it is a promise fulfilled. From the moment Hannah greeted me with such warmth, my stay exceeded expectations. The meals were bountiful, the service welcoming, and every detail contributed to an experience that felt both gracious and memorable. The decor transported me to a more elegant era, while my room offered all the modern comforts one could wish for. And the view from my window? Simply breathtaking. The location was equally wonderful, providing easy access to Helsingborg’s sights and making it a pleasure to explore the places connected to my ancestral roots. There is a unique joy in discovering one’s heritage, and the Grand Hotel made that journey all the more special.

Very dated hotel. Bathroom smelled of sewage, they were kind enough to give me an apartment instead. But that apartment was just very off everything else and I didn’t feel comfortable to stay there by myself. I ended up leaving that hotel and stayed at a different one.
