We loved the simple Tongan style accommodation. There are only 3 fales set in beautiful tropical gardens where guests are allowed to pick their own pawpaw and coconuts. It is private, secure and quiet, set beside the best snorkelling beach in Tonga with the use of kayaks. The coral is amazing to the right of the beach but you need to be careful to go when it’s calmer and lower tide. We saw whales swim past from the family unit we were staying in. Allowed us to participate in an unveiling ceremony of local art and even took us to their Church service on Sunday morning which was really special. The walls are not insulated from noise. Old outdated furnishing, pillow cases seemed clean, but stained, sheets torn in places, ceiling, walls and wood trim peeling in places, bathroom fan didn't work, towels felt like sandpaper, strong smell of disinfectant, TV was broken, they couldn't fix it and wouldn't replace it, just said "oh well," sketchy wifi, but nice staff-Nai is awesome, good AC and close to the ocean. You could do better with a different hotel, one that actually provides the services that it advertises."
