Lovely Farm

A perfect holiday home

The house was clean and comfortable and the caretakers were awesome. It is located in a spectacular part of Slovenia near the mountains. You have to get used to driving the roads because there aren’t very many straight sections. Čigijn is a charming village and the restaurant in town is excellent.

We had a good time in Slovenia, loved the many opportunities to enjoy the Soca river. The house is lovely and the view very nice. We missed a garden or terrace to sit outside, but that was not too big a problem.

Beautiful spacious house

Lovely old house with beautifully renovated large rooms. Set on a hill at the back of the village overlooking the countryside beyond. Not much outdoor space, but a nice seating area at the front & rear of the house for outdoor dining, etc. Great location for exploring the Soča valley, with pleanty of local walks & river swimming opportunities.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort.Zuerst waren wir sehr überrascht über die andere Doppelhaushälfte, die eine komplette Baustelle ist. Der Außenbereich des Hauses könnte noch etwas netter gestaltet werden. Es fehlt Platz für entspanntes draußen Sitzen. Hinterm Haus ist es sehr dunkel.Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und unkompliziert.

schöner Urlaub

wenn einem nicht stört, dass die rechte Haushälfte eine Ruine ist, kann man in diesem Ferienhaus sehr gut Urlaub machen. Das Haus war sauber, der Kühlschrank gefüllt, das meiste was man braucht war da (paar mehr Teller wären gut). Allerdings Minus dafür, dass nicht alles so war, wie es in der Beschreibung stand! Einen Whirlpool oder Grill sucht man vergebens-damit kann man leben, aber leider gabs auch keinen Fernseher und da wir uns abends die Fußball EM Spiele ansehen wollten, war das sehr ärgerlich. Wir mußten Magenta TV buchen,um wenigsten über unseren kleinen Laptop schauen zu können, leider nur bis zum Viertelfinale: mitten im Spiel war wohl das Datenvolumen vom Funkrouter aufgebraucht - es gab den Rest des Urlaubs kein Internetzugang mehr. Auch gegen den Holzwurm sollte was getan werden, es rieselt doch stellenweise recht viel aus den Balken. Ansonsten hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier. Das Land ist wirklich schön. Gerne wieder

Angenehmes Haus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Ciginj sehr genossen. Das Haus ist auch für eine Familie mit 4 Kindern sehr gut geeignet und ausgestattet. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hilfreich und problemlos!

Sehr schönes restauriertes Ferienhaus

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist gemütlich und man hat sehr viel Platz. Toll ist, daß man zwei Bäder hat, gerade wenn man mit mehreren Personen dort ist. Die Beschreibung vom Haus und der Umgebung stimmen mit dem überein, was wir vorgefunden haben. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe lief reibungslos, die Leute sind sehr nett. Es war ein schöner Urlaub in Slowenien und wir kommen gern wieder. Wunderbare Landschaft im Soca-Tal.

Schönes Ferienhaus in den Bergen

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem schönen und großen Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung ist topp. Vom Haus aus gibt es fußläufig zwei kleine Wasserfälle zu erreichen, sowie eine tolle Pizzaria und einen kleinen Bauernhof mit Ziegen, Eseln, Gänsen die sich über einen Besuch freuen. Von Ciginj aus gibt es allerhand tolle Ausflugsziele in der Natur, die am besten per Auto zu erreichen sind. Mittelmeerküste oder Hochgebirge -alles in der Nähe. Auch Spiele und ganz viel Infomaterial in allen Sprachen sind im Haus schon vorhanden.

Wir waren zu viert mit den Motorrädern in Ciginj, was ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren bietet. Das Bauernhaus ist innen hübsch renoviert und die Buchung und Schlüssselübergabe verlief sehr gut. Vorm Haus gibt es eine gemütliche Holzgarnitur, wo wir immer sehr nette und lustige Kontakte mit den Nachbarn inklusive Hunden erleben durften. Es fehlte ein Grill, aber den konnten wir uns vom Nachbar ausleihen. Es gibt auch keine Liegestühle in dem kleinen Gärtchen, aber Platz für Hängematten. Ein Restaurant ist um die Ecke. War eine tolle Woche

Comfortable country house in a small village in the beautiful Soča valley

Comfortable country house that had everything we needed. Patrick, the host, answered any queries promptly. Small village with a pizza restaurant, supermarket in Tolmin, approx 5 mins drive. Easy access to lots of activities in the Soča valley - walking, cycling, rafting, river swimming…… A wonderful holiday.

Familienurlaub in Ciginj

Wir haben das alte Bauerhaus wie beschrieben vorgefunden und fanden es toll. Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern im Haus und hatten ausreichend Platz. Einzig mit dem WLAN hatten wir am Anfang zu kämpfen, bis wir herausgefunden hatten, wie es funktioniert. Hier wäre eine kurze Beschreibung für neue Gäste toll. Von Ciginj aus kommt man schnell in alle Richtungen für Ausflüge (Tolmin, Bovec, Kolerat...). Tolle Landschaft, nette Leute.

De woning is verrassend ruim. Goed ingericht en compleet. Prima keuken, goede badkamers en een goed werkende wasmachine. Ruime slaapkamers, een keuken met eetgedeelte en een woonkamer met heerlijk zachte banken en fauteuils. Het was warm weer. De slaapkamers bleven 's nachts warm, ondanks de ventilatoren. Het huis staat in een leuk klein authentiek Sloveens dorpje. We hebben ons goed vermaakt in de prachtige omgeving.

Rundum zufrieden!

Meine Familie und ich haben Mitte April 10 Tage im schönen Ciginj verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und von innen und außen so schön, wie es die Fotos versprechen. Wir wurden von der Haushälterin Irena und ihrem Mann sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Dorf Ciginj liegt malerisch zwischen Hügeln, nahe des Flusses Soča und nicht weit vom Triglav-Nationalpark. Andere Highlights wie die Höhle Postojna oder die Hafenstadt Piran sind mit dem Auto - genau wie die Hauptstadt Ljubljana - problemlos zu erreichen.
