Really it was Very Good with minor exceptions based on value for money. Reception is small and dingy. The room photos are better than the real life room. Shower is great. Bed is comfortable and firm. The location cannot be beat and the staff are lovely. Park-facing room is a treat to wake up to. Breakfast is beautifully prepared and delicious served on a lovely rooftop.

The rooms are amazing, very clean hotel.
Limited in certain services but the service iverall has gotten better, i have been staying at The Alest since 2021/2022.
