"We had a horrible experience! We’d been traveling for day & found this place along the way to stay overnight. We were exhausted. Our first impression entering the room was ok, other than the strong smell of smoke. We expected the smell, as we had to get a smoking room because the options at the time were very limited.
Once in the room we clearly heard the guys next door. They were loud, partying and had the music up loud. We went to turn on the TV where the King bed was but couldn’t get any channels. We went to grab and bite to eat, came back and the guys were still partying. We showered, water pressure was great, but the hair dryer wasn’t. I started using it, it sparked and went off. So much for drying my hair before bed. The towels were cleaned but stained and old, paper thin and I could see through them. The sheets on the king bed had burning holes and my side had stains. My husband ended up laying on top of the sheets in his clothes. Thinking we would try the double bed in our suite, but there were also burn holes in the sheets and comforter. It was 10:30pm and the loud noice was still going on next door. I trying calling the front desk but neither phone worked!! We tried to sleep but the noise was too loud. It was around 12:30am, I was so frustrated that i knocked on there door to ask them to be quiet & they finally did. Still we didn’t sleep. We were heading home to MD after traveling to CA and back. Stayed in many hotels along the way & this hotel was the worst! "
"This hotel was terrifying. Thank God, we had our own blankets sheets and all the things because we were traveling to bring in because there’s no way we could’ve slept on that stuff. It smelt so awful in the hotel and then 10 times worse in the room that we were in and I mean, awful like like someone had cooked food and burnt it and left it for days in there it was hard to breathe. It was filthy. Disgusting I really can’t believe that they call us a Windheim property because it was not at all. It was like a trucker stop."
"Parking was fine, not really pet friendly, no potty areas and dog almost killed himself jumping to bed because king is not properly put on frame. He had PTSD. The place was not cleaved, hair in bed and dirty washcloth in shower. "
"our room wasn’t ready just quite yet when we got to the hotel but they soon texted to let us know the hotel was ready. The ladies were super sweet and asked what they could do to make our stay better and I asked for more towels and blankets. Came back to the room and they were on the bed for us!"
