"This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. Close to Timberline and Canaan and only about 10 minutes from Davis. "

"Everything was wonderful, the only inconvenience was hauling the trash out to a dumpster up the road a ways. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved staying here, the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. We loved the basement set up for our teen son and his friend, they were able to hangout and play ping pong all night. Beds were super comfy and everything was nice and clean. "

"My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked out and forgot some clothes that were hanging in the closet, the property manager promptly mailed them back to us which my wife, especially, greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if/when visiting the Cannan Valley."
