great smaller hotel right on Ipanema beach. excellent food at restaurant, dining indoors or out. staff very friendly and helpful. would return for certain. ps: enjoyed the morning yoga sessions

The location of the Ipanema Inn is fantastic - it's just a couple of blocks from the beach and they offer complimentary umbrella and chair service. The breakfast was one of the best we've seen at a hotel and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

Went with a tour guide, would recommend it as you would miss vital points that only a local knows. Monkeys galore and the black bees are something else. We went with a tour booked by the hotel and had an excellent time. Thank you Antonio, Jeep Tours.
